Cancel anytime, online

You can cancel your membership at any time, in under a minute, with no fees and no phone call. Go to storycheck.com/cancel and enter the email address you signed up with and the code we send you, or, in your account, open the menu, tap Profile, open the Credits tab and tap Cancel subscription.

Cancelling stops all future renewal charges. If you cancel during your trial, the trial ends right away and you are not charged the renewal price. If you cancel a paid plan, it stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

2

What is not refundable

Trial fees (including both charges of a two-part trial fee), renewal charges, and one-time purchases are final and non-refundable, and we do not give refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused credits, except for charges made in error (below) and where a refund is required by applicable law. This matches our Terms of Service.

Charges made in error

We refund mistakes

If we charged you by mistake, for example twice for the same thing, after your cancellation took effect, or more than the price shown at checkout, we refund the charge or the difference. Contact us with the date and amount of the charge and the last 4 digits of your card.

4

EU, EEA and UK customers: 14 days to change your mind

As a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you can withdraw from your membership within 14 days of starting it, without giving a reason. If you do, we refund what you paid, less an amount proportionate to the service already provided up to the time you told us you were withdrawing, which includes any reports already delivered.

A report is digital content delivered immediately at your request, so the right of withdrawal ends for a report once it has been delivered. To withdraw, tell us before the 14 days end, for example by emailing support@storycheck.com. Full details are in our EU terms and UK terms.

5

How to ask for a refund

Email support@storycheck.com from the email address you signed up with, or use our support page. Include the date and amount of the charge and the last 4 digits of the card. Refunds go back to the payment method you used; banks usually show them within 5 to 10 business days.

6

Talk to us before disputing a charge

If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first. We can usually sort it out much faster than a dispute with your bank, which can take weeks. Card charges from us appear on your statement starting with STORYCHECK.
